Chaliha Sahib Mela Started on 31-July-2024. Devotees of Mandir observed the fast for 40 days. On 41st day that is 9th September, 2024, Monday Matki Mela was celebrated with lot of fanfare. Trustees of Chaliha Sahib Mandir and Saints from Sai Vasan Shah Darbar performed the Akhand Jyot pooja and installed new Jyot at Mandir around 8:30am. Behrana Sahib with Matkis were immersed at Jhulelal Sarovar by trustees and other attendees of Akhand Jyot Puja. Later at 9pm onwards Lady devotees could emerse the Matkis. These Matkis were available outside the Mandir for Bheta of Rs. 70. Gents started bringing Matkis at 3:00pm onwards and Talav/Sarovar was opened to Gents to personaly emerse the Matki. This year there was not heavy crowd like last year. Most of the Devotees could reach the Sarovar in the Mandir within half hour. All the devotees were offered Dona Prasad which is the most awaited moment of any devotee observing the fast.
Subsequently on 10th September, 2024, Tuesday Palav Sahib was organised where devotees could come and pray to Jhulelal Sai. Taking blessings of Jhulelal Sain for the fast observed for 40 days. After the Palav one can break the fast and he/she is free from fast restrictions.
