How can I reach Ulhasnagar?

  1. By road: There is no good bus service connecting to nearby cities. Autorikhshaws are considered the best. One can hire the four wheeler from Mumbai for travelling Ulhasnagar for the whole day at aprox Rs 600 to Rs.1000.
  2. By Railway: You can reach to ulhasnagar easily by getting down on any of these stations (Kalyan, Vithalvadi, Ulhasnagar, Ambernath, Shahad)
  3. By Air: Nearest International and Domestic Airport is in Mumbai. From Mumbai one has to take either road route or Rail Route.

I learnt that name of Ulhasnagar is beeing proposed as Sindhunagar. When it will be changed officially?

well i liked ulhasnagar a lot studied at new english high school have sweet memories of it unfortunately i lost touch with my friends of 1986 batch. i use to live in ulhasnagar 5 on way ti shiv mandir if any one known to me is reading it kindly mail me on my mail id. best was sweetness of people though a bit cunning but ver friendlly people. anil chaudhary
