New CR locals from July 1 Mumbai: Central Railway commuters will
have more trains. But not many of them will run during the morning
and evening peak hours.
The new timetable sees the introduction of 37 additional services
every day. The Main Line have 14 additional trains, taking the number
of services from 730 to 744.
Harbour Line commuters have 13 new services, taking the total from
505 to 518.
On the Thane-Vashi section, 10 services have been added.
A total of 77 nine-coach rakes will run as 12-coach, taking the
number of 12 coaches from 274 to 351. All Kasara and Asangaon trains
will run as 12-coach rakes.
